Apparently September is National Breakfast Month.
So, to celebrate, I’ve cooked up a recipe for avocado on toast that’ll really spice up your morning!
Introducing… Mexican-inspired avocado on toast!
- 1/2 a ripe avocado
- 1/4 tsp chilli flakes
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- squeeze of fresh lime juice
- two slices of rye toast
- drizzle of olive oil
Mash the avocado in a bowl using the back of a fork. Add the chilli flakes, paprika and lime juice and mix well.
Drizzle olive oil over the toasted rye bread and top with the avocado mix.
Serve and enjoy!
