Mango basil smoothie

This week’s ‘superfood’ mango & basil smoothie might be an acquired taste for some, but I liked it!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of mango cubes (frozen)
  • small handful blueberries
  • 4-5 fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1/2 banana
  • a few kale leaves
  • 1 tsp flax seeds

Method:

Blend together in a food processor until smooth. Add more coconut milk to thin the smoothie if needed.
